This summer hubby and I spent a few days camping at Cape Lookout State Park in Tillamook. We had enjoyed visiting the Tillamook Air Museum, Tillamook Cheese Factory, the Cape Lookout Lighthouse and various outdoor scenic attractions nearby.
At the campground, you can walk over to the beach and watch beautiful sunsets. It had been a little muggy and foggy during our time there. But one evening we could tell that there would be a nice sunset, though a bit cloudy. We walked from the campground over to the beach where other campers were assembling with their lawn chairs. One elderly couple drew my attention. They were drinking their martinis and sitting in their chairs, watching the sunset. They were so adorable! I could not keep my eyes off of them. Because they were positioned higher on a sand mound, I could photograph them from behind, which put them in silhouette form, against the sunset.
I’m sure that they were unaware of me snapping away behind them. I did get some grins from other campers watching me though. I really liked the shot and thought it would be a good photo for stock photography.
Recently Graphic Designer, Justin Macduff designed this mailer for his client, Merit Accounting & Merit Financial Services with my image. The post card was designed for showcasing their investment services. I think it works rather well! What do you think?
