This morning hubby and I drove up to Sweet Creek Falls about ten miles out of Mapleton to continue shooting flowing water on another section of the 2.7 mile Sweet Creek Trail.
Six weeks ago we had worked the lower half mile. I had photographed several of the smaller falls, but never made it to the main attraction – Sweet Creek Falls itself. We just ran out of time. On this trip, we parked at a mid-point trail head and hiked a short distance to our destination.
Sweet Creek Falls has become one of my favorite waterfalls. Last year, I took a flowing water photography workshop. On the second day of the workshop we visited Sweet Creek Falls. It was the first time I had been there. Hubby and I have been there a few times on our own since. It’s such a beautiful place.

Looks like a beautiful area. I particularly like the composition of the 4th image here. Your eyes just meander deep into the image following the water path to the falls.
