This morning hubby and I, along with a friend, set out on a drive to photograph waterfalls along the North Umpqua Highway.
Our first stop was the Toketee Falls. This was a spectacular double-tiered falls with gorgeous blue/green river water. I would love to return in the fall to photograph this one again.
After leaving the Toketee Falls area, there was snow all along the sides of the road. So when we arrived at Whitehorse Falls, the snow was pretty deep. We enjoyed a few chuckles over our clumsiness in the snow.
Since it was a pretty long drive, we only had time for one more waterfall before dusk. Watson Falls was a little difficult to photograph because of all the snow. I would love to try to get a better shot of this one in the future.
I had an enjoyable day visiting falls that I have never seen before. The entire Roque-Umpqua Scenic Byway is something hubby and I would love to have several days to explore in the future.

A really great set of photos. Oregon seems to be such a photographic state.
Thanks! You should come visit us!
Excellent shots! Now, I want to visit the Umpqua too.
Hope you’re having a great week.

Beautiful shots. No mountains here just a few hills and our falls are not nearly as gorgeous.

Amazing and beautiful, every one! It’s like being there, complete with fresh, cool, air!
