One thing I love about storm watching along the Oregon Coast, is the huge swells that can cause some pretty amazing waves. This photo was taken a couple months ago at Shore Acres State Park in Oregon. This is a famous spot along the Oregon Coast for photographers. During high surf warnings, the splash against the rocks and cliff can create a pretty awesome spray.
If you are really patient, you’ll get some dramatic lighting situations and cloud formations as well to photograph.
