On March 13th, I departed from the Eugene airport in route to Las Vegas. I have family in Las Vegas and planned a trip where I would be going for a visit and to deliver a laptop to one of my sisters. One of my sisters lives with my mom. I’m hoping to get them online. And I’m hoping the access to the internet will get them more in touch with distance relatives and more opportunities.
I had a great time visiting my family. I had not been to visit there in over two years. Even though my mom has come out since that time. I only had one chance to go to the Las Vegas strip on Saturday evening. My mom was gracious to be my tour guide. I really wanted to go slightly before dark, but it just didn’t work out. My photos aren’t the best quality, but I sure had a great time photographing the neon lights. A couple of hours of that and I was ready to get out of there. I would have much preferred photographing the deserts of Nevada, the incredible landscapes. Maybe next time.
I hope to go back next spring and be better prepared!
