Silver Falls State Park

I just love Silver Falls State Park just outside of Silverton, Oregon. There are some great trails leading to the beautiful South Falls and Lower South Falls.  The park is also home to the “Trail of Ten Falls“.

North Umpqua Highway trip

This morning hubby and I, along with a friend, set out on a drive to photograph waterfalls along the North Umpqua Highway.

Our first stop was the Toketee Falls.  This was a spectacular double-tiered falls with gorgeous blue/green river water.  I would love to return inREAD MORE

This morning hubby and I drove up to Sweet Creek Falls about ten miles out of Mapleton to continue shooting flowing water on another section of the  2.7 mile Sweet Creek Trail.

January sunsets
